I found this fun piece of fabric in Tijuana and couldn't resist buying it. However,
it presented a challenge for me -- how best to use it. It had very wide bands
of color and so I kept looking at it for months, before I had this "bright"
idea. I did waste a lot of fabric, but I think it was worth it. Mia looks
like the perfect rainbow with her favorite SpongeBob Square Pants.
This was also one of my first attempts at digitizing my own embroidery
design. It had a lot of errors in it, but I was able to make it work.
The floppy pocket is because Mia decided she didn't want sleeves on her shirt
but did want a really big pocket. Too bad her mom wouldn't let her wear it.
